Terms and Conditions

The rules that apply when you create an account or use Clevsure.

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Welcome to Clevsure.

Clevsure is a practical digital calculator designed for insurance agents and insurance agencies. It helps users prepare preliminary premium calculations, organise product information, compare indicative results, save working records, and prepare insurance-related documents more efficiently.

These Terms and Conditions explain the rules that apply when you create an account or use Clevsure. We have written them as clearly as possible.

By signing up for, accessing, or using Clevsure, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions and the Clevsure Privacy Policy.

Clevsure is owned and operated by AWKCOM SARL, Lebanon, referred to in these Terms as “Clevsure,” “AWKCOM,” “we,” “us,” or “our.”

1. Important points at a glance

The following points are especially important:

  • Clevsure is a technology and calculation tool for insurance agents, insurance agencies, and authorised members of their teams.
  • Clevsure produces indicative, non-binding premium calculations only.
  • Clevsure is not an insurance company, underwriter, broker, insurance intermediary, or provider of insurance advice.
  • All products, rates, formulas, coverages, conditions, and underwriting notes are entered and managed by the user.
  • Every result must be checked by the user before it is used or shared.
  • Only the relevant insurance company can provide a final quotation, accept a risk, confirm coverage, or issue a policy.
  • Each user must have an individual account and must not share account access.
  • Subscriptions are generally annual and charged per user, and you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase or renewal date.

This summary is provided for convenience. The complete Terms below apply to your use of Clevsure.

2. Who may use Clevsure

Clevsure is intended for insurance agents, insurance agencies, and authorised members of their teams who use the platform for legitimate insurance-related activities.

Individual users must be at least 18 years old and legally able to accept these Terms.

If you use Clevsure on behalf of an insurance agency or another business, you confirm that you are authorised to act on its behalf.

You should provide correct account information and use Clevsure in accordance with the laws and professional requirements that apply to your insurance activities.

3. What Clevsure provides

Clevsure allows users to configure insurance products using information they enter, including insurance company names, rates, premiums, calculation methods, age brackets, limits, coverages, conditions, and underwriting notes.

Depending on the features available under the applicable subscription, Clevsure may allow users to:

  • create and manage an insurance agent or agency workspace;
  • add authorised team members;
  • record the insurance companies with which they work;
  • configure insurance products, rates, rules, and calculation methods;
  • calculate preliminary or indicative premiums;
  • compare indicative results;
  • save calculations and related working records;
  • prepare requests for quotation or policy issuance;
  • generate, download, or share PDF documents; and
  • access administrative or performance information relating to their workspace.

Features may be introduced, updated, limited, or removed as Clevsure develops.

4. Clevsure is not an insurance provider

Clevsure is a technology service only. It does not act as an insurer, reinsurer, underwriter, broker, insurance intermediary, claims handler, financial adviser, or legal adviser.

Using Clevsure does not create an insurance, brokerage, agency, advisory, fiduciary, partnership, employment, or joint-venture relationship between Clevsure and any user, client, insurer, or other party.

Clevsure does not:

  • approve or reject insurance risks;
  • verify whether a client is eligible for coverage;
  • provide an official insurance quotation;
  • bind or confirm insurance coverage;
  • issue insurance policies;
  • guarantee that an insurance company will accept a risk;
  • verify the accuracy or current validity of rates or rules entered by users; or
  • guarantee that an indicative calculation will match an insurance company’s final quotation.

Only the relevant insurance company can provide an official quotation, confirm acceptance, bind coverage, or issue a policy.

5. Indicative calculations and user responsibility

Every calculation and output produced by Clevsure is preliminary, indicative, and non-binding.

Results may be affected by:

  • inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrectly entered information;
  • incorrect product configuration;
  • incorrect rates, formulas, brackets, limits, taxes, fees, or conditions;
  • changes introduced by an insurance company;
  • rounding or calculation differences;
  • technical errors; or
  • factors considered by the insurance company during underwriting.

Before communicating or sharing any result, the user must review it carefully and compare it with the insurance company’s current official information.

The user remains responsible for:

  • the information entered into Clevsure;
  • the products and calculation rules configured within the workspace;
  • checking calculations before using or sharing them;
  • explaining to clients that results are preliminary;
  • obtaining the insurance company’s final official quotation;
  • confirming that coverage has been accepted before representing it as active; and
  • all communications and documents sent to clients, insurance companies, or other parties.

A Clevsure calculation or generated PDF must not be presented as an official or binding insurance quotation unless it has been separately confirmed and issued by the relevant insurance company.

6. Accounts and Google sign-in

Clevsure accounts are accessed through Google sign-in.

Clevsure staff do not create user accounts on behalf of users. Each user must complete the sign-up or account-activation process using their own Google account.

Each Gmail address may be connected to only one active Clevsure account. Accounts are personal to the individual user and must not be shared.

Clevsure does not receive or store users’ Google passwords. Google accounts and Google sign-in services remain subject to Google’s own terms and policies.

Each user is responsible for:

  • keeping their Google account secure;
  • protecting their device against unauthorised access;
  • ensuring that their account information is accurate;
  • keeping their registered email address active and accessible; and
  • notifying Clevsure promptly if unauthorised access is suspected.

Actions performed through a user’s account will normally be treated as authorised by that user unless Clevsure is promptly notified of suspected misuse.

7. One active device per account

Each Clevsure account may be active on only one device or active session at a time.

If the same account signs in from another device, the previous session may be signed out automatically. The newest successful sign-in will remain active.

This control is intended to protect workspace information and discourage account sharing. It does not replace the user’s responsibility to secure their Google account and devices.

8. Main account holders and team members

A main account holder may create or invite team members to work within the main account holder’s workspace.

Each team member must:

  • use their own Gmail address;
  • access Clevsure through their own account;
  • comply with these Terms; and
  • use only the permissions granted by the main account holder.

The main account holder controls the team structure and available permissions and decides which team members may access workspace information or perform particular activities.

The main account holder is responsible for managing team access and ensuring that permissions remain appropriate.

When a team member leaves the agency or no longer requires access, the main account holder should remove that access promptly.

Team members do not obtain ownership of the workspace or its information merely because they have been granted access.

9. Information entered by users

Clevsure does not independently provide or verify the insurance products, rates, premiums, formulas, brackets, taxes, fees, coverages, exclusions, conditions, or underwriting notes entered by users.

The user or agency entering or managing this information is responsible for ensuring that it is:

  • accurate and complete;
  • based on authorised and current information;
  • updated when an insurance company changes its terms;
  • used consistently with any applicable agreement with the insurance company; and
  • not misleading or presented as having been verified by Clevsure.

Displaying or recording the name of an insurance company within a private workspace does not mean that the insurance company has approved, sponsored, or endorsed Clevsure or the information entered by the user.

10. Client information and lawful use

Users may enter client information into calculations, including names, contact information, dates of birth, policy information, risk details, and other information necessary for their insurance activities.

The user or agency entering the information is responsible for ensuring that there is a legitimate professional and legal reason to collect, enter, use, store, or share it.

Users must:

  • provide any privacy notice required by applicable law;
  • obtain consent where consent is legally required;
  • enter only information reasonably necessary for the intended insurance activity;
  • avoid uploading information they are not authorised to use;
  • keep information reasonably accurate and up to date; and
  • protect downloaded or exported information after it leaves Clevsure.

Clevsure does not acquire ownership of client information entered by users. Personal information is handled in accordance with the Clevsure Privacy Policy.

Clevsure does not sell users’ or clients’ personal data and does not use personal data to train artificial-intelligence models, as further explained in the Privacy Policy.

11. Workspace separation and platform administration

Each main account workspace is logically separated from other workspaces. Users from one workspace are not intended to access information belonging to another workspace.

Authorised Clevsure administrators may access limited account, subscription, support, security, and platform usage information where reasonably necessary to operate and protect Clevsure.

Platform information and administrative reports may be used for legitimate platform administration, subscription management, support, security, and general usage monitoring.

Further information about data access and use is provided in the Privacy Policy.

12. Uploaded documents and generated PDFs

Documents or images uploaded for a particular calculation, offer, or generated PDF are working materials and should not be treated as a permanent document archive.

Their processing, storage period, and deletion are governed by the applicable feature, notices displayed within Clevsure, and the Privacy Policy.

Except for temporary or expiring files clearly identified within a feature, saved workspace information is not automatically deleted merely because it has become old.

Account deletion, team-member deletion, offer deletion, or other deletion actions initiated by the user may result in the associated information being deleted.

Users should retain their own copies of documents they are legally or professionally required to keep.

Generated PDFs may contain mistakes, incomplete information, or information entered incorrectly by the user.

Before downloading or sharing a PDF, the user must review its contents and confirm that:

  • the information is accurate;
  • the intended recipient is correct;
  • the document does not contain unnecessary personal information; and
  • the document is clearly presented as preliminary or indicative where applicable.

Once a document is downloaded, emailed, messaged, or otherwise shared outside Clevsure, the user who shared it is responsible for its security, recipients, and further use.

13. Acceptable use

Clevsure may be used only for legitimate insurance-related activities.

Users must not:

  • share their account or allow another person to use their login;
  • access another user’s account without authorisation;
  • misrepresent their identity, authority, or professional status;
  • falsely claim to represent or be authorised by an insurance company;
  • present indicative calculations as official or binding insurance company quotations;
  • remove or hide a disclaimer stating that an output is indicative;
  • separately sell or resell Clevsure calculations, templates, PDFs, subscriptions, or platform access;
  • copy, scrape, extract, or reproduce substantial parts of the platform or its database;
  • reverse engineer or attempt to bypass platform security;
  • upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful files;
  • use automated tools to create accounts or overload the service;
  • use Clevsure for fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, or abusive activities;
  • infringe intellectual-property, privacy, or other legal rights; or
  • use Clevsure in a way that could damage the platform or other users.

Users may share an indicative calculation or generated document with a client or insurance company as part of their normal insurance activities, provided that its preliminary nature is clearly communicated.

14. Subscriptions

Unless a different offer is clearly displayed, Clevsure subscriptions are:

  • paid annually;
  • valid for one year;
  • charged per user; and
  • required separately for the main account holder and each active team member.

Prices, included features, applicable charges, payment timing, and renewal arrangements will be shown before payment.

If automatic renewal is offered, it will be clearly disclosed before purchase and will require the user’s authorisation. Otherwise, continued access after the subscription period may require a new payment.

Clevsure may change subscription prices or included features. Where reasonably possible, changes affecting an existing paid subscription will apply from the next renewal period rather than during the already-paid subscription term.

15. Free trials and promotional access

Clevsure may offer a free trial or promotional access period. The duration and available features will be shown when the offer is made.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, a free trial does not automatically become a paid subscription.

At the end of a free trial, the user must select and complete payment for a paid subscription to continue using paid features.

If a paid subscription is not purchased, access may be limited, paused, or suspended. Information associated with the account will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable feature notices.

Clevsure may modify, limit, or withdraw trial offers for future users.

A trial may also be ended early where there is account sharing, misuse, fraud, a security risk, or a serious breach of these Terms.

A free trial does not create a permanent right to free access.

16. Payments and refunds

Payments are processed securely by Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Clevsure does not store complete payment-card numbers.

Users are responsible for:

  • providing accurate billing information;
  • paying the displayed subscription price and applicable charges;
  • ensuring that the selected payment method is valid; and
  • reviewing the payment details before confirming the purchase.

Refund window: if you are not satisfied with your Clevsure subscription, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the initial purchase date or of the renewal date.

How to request a refund: contact us at contact@clevsure.com, or contact Paddle buyer support at paddle.net, quoting your order reference. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 5 to 10 business days.

After the 14-day refund window has passed, the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period, and amounts already paid for that period are not refunded on a partial or pro-rated basis.

Subscription purchases and refund requests are made solely by the main account holder. Individual team-member fees added to a workspace are non-refundable once the 14-day purchase window has passed.

Suspected duplicate charges, unauthorised transactions, or payment-processing errors should be reported promptly so they can be investigated.

Failed, cancelled, disputed, or reversed payments may result in the suspension of paid access.

17. Intellectual property

Clevsure, including its software, design, interface, calculation structure, wording, templates, branding, logos, and platform content, is owned by or licensed to AWKCOM SARL and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

A valid subscription gives the user a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use Clevsure during the subscription period for its intended professional purpose.

A subscription does not transfer ownership of Clevsure or permit a user to copy, resell, license, reproduce, or create a competing service using its protected elements.

Users retain ownership of the information they enter.

Users give Clevsure only the limited permission reasonably necessary to host, process, display, calculate, organise, and generate documents from that information so that Clevsure can provide the service.

This permission does not allow Clevsure to sell personal information or use it to train artificial-intelligence models.

18. Third-party services

Clevsure relies on certain third-party services, which may include Google sign-in, hosting, cloud storage, email delivery, and payment processing.

These services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.

Temporary interruptions, changes, or failures in a third-party service may affect the availability or operation of Clevsure.

We will take reasonable steps to maintain the service but cannot guarantee the uninterrupted operation of systems outside our reasonable control.

19. Availability, updates, and maintenance

We aim to keep Clevsure reliable and available. However, no online service can guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Clevsure may occasionally be unavailable because of:

  • scheduled or urgent maintenance;
  • software updates;
  • hosting or internet problems;
  • security incidents;
  • third-party service interruptions; or
  • circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

We may update the platform to improve security, performance, usability, compliance, or available features.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice when an update is expected to materially affect normal use.

Clevsure is not intended to serve as a user’s only archive or backup system. Users should retain independent copies of information and documents they are professionally or legally required to keep.

20. Account suspension

Clevsure may temporarily restrict or suspend an account where reasonably necessary because of:

  • unpaid or reversed subscription fees;
  • suspected account sharing;
  • unauthorised or suspicious access;
  • a security threat;
  • unlawful or fraudulent activity;
  • a serious or repeated breach of these Terms;
  • a legal requirement; or
  • conduct that could harm Clevsure or another user.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we will notify the affected user and allow an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Urgent restrictions may be applied without advance notice when necessary to protect users, information, or the platform.

21. Account and team-member deletion

The main account holder may delete:

  • the main account holder’s own account; and
  • team-member accounts within the main account holder’s workspace.

For protection against accidental deletion, Clevsure may require the user to type DELETE or complete another confirmation step.

Deleting a team-member account also deletes calculations saved by that team member. Deleted calculations or information may not be recoverable.

Deleting the main account may close the entire workspace and affect information associated with its team members.

The consequences of deletion should be reviewed carefully before it is confirmed.

Certain limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for billing, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, legal compliance, or the establishment or defence of legal claims, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

22. Ending use of Clevsure

Users may stop using Clevsure at any time. Outside the 14-day refund window described in section 16, stopping use does not create a right to a refund for the remaining subscription period.

Clevsure may terminate an account for a material breach of these Terms, unlawful use, fraud, serious security risk, or repeated misuse.

Where practical, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to correct a breach that can reasonably be corrected.

When an account or subscription ends:

  • the right to use paid features ends;
  • access may be limited or suspended;
  • the user remains responsible for activities that occurred before termination;
  • payment obligations already incurred remain due; and
  • information will be handled according to the Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

Sections that should reasonably continue after termination—including intellectual property, responsibility for shared outputs, liability, dispute provisions, and unpaid obligations—will remain applicable.

23. Disclaimer of warranties

Clevsure will use reasonable care in operating and maintaining the platform.

However, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clevsure is provided on an “as available” basis.

Clevsure does not guarantee that:

  • every calculation will be accurate or complete;
  • user-entered rates or rules are current;
  • the platform will be uninterrupted or free from technical errors;
  • every feature will work on every device or browser;
  • information will satisfy an insurance company’s underwriting requirements; or
  • an insurance company will accept a risk or issue coverage.

These limitations do not remove any obligation or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

24. Limitation of liability

The user or agency remains responsible for professional judgment, the accuracy of information entered, the review of outputs, communications with clients, and confirmation by the relevant insurance company.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, AWKCOM SARL and Clevsure will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, including loss of profit, opportunity, business, reputation, anticipated commission, or client relationship arising from:

  • an incorrect or incomplete calculation;
  • inaccurate or outdated user-entered information;
  • reliance on an indicative result;
  • an insurance company’s refusal, amendment, cancellation, or pricing decision;
  • a document shared with an incorrect recipient;
  • unauthorised use of a user’s account;
  • loss of information that the user was responsible for backing up; or
  • interruption of a third-party service.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Clevsure’s total liability relating to the service will not exceed the subscription fees paid by the affected user during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

25. Responsibility for claims caused by misuse

To the extent permitted by applicable law, users are responsible for reasonable losses, costs, or third-party claims arising directly from:

  • a material breach of these Terms;
  • unlawful use of Clevsure;
  • information or documents the user was not authorised to use;
  • infringement of another person’s rights;
  • presentation of an indicative result as an official insurance company quotation; or
  • fraud, intentional misconduct, or material misrepresentation by the user or an authorised team member.

Clevsure will notify the affected user of any relevant claim and will not seek recovery for losses caused solely by Clevsure’s own unlawful conduct.

26. Privacy

The Clevsure Privacy Policy explains how personal information is collected, used, protected, accessed, and retained.

The Privacy Policy forms part of the framework governing the use of Clevsure.

If there is a conflict concerning the processing of personal information, the Privacy Policy will apply to that processing unless mandatory law requires otherwise.

By using Clevsure, users acknowledge that they have reviewed the Privacy Policy and agree to comply with their own responsibilities concerning client and team-member information.

27. Electronic communications

By creating an account, users agree that Clevsure may send service-related communications electronically through:

  • the registered Google email address;
  • notices displayed within Clevsure; or
  • notices published on the Clevsure website.

These communications may concern account security, subscriptions, payments, maintenance, legal updates, or changes affecting the service.

Users are responsible for keeping their registered email address accessible and reviewing important account notices.

28. Changes to these Terms

Clevsure may update these Terms to reflect changes in the platform, subscriptions, legal requirements, security practices, or business operations.

The updated version will display a revised “Last updated” date.

Where a change materially affects users’ rights or obligations, Clevsure will provide reasonable notice through the platform or registered email address.

Continued use of Clevsure after the updated Terms take effect means that the user accepts the revised Terms.

If a user does not agree with a material change, the user may stop using Clevsure before the revised Terms become effective.

29. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and the use of Clevsure are governed by the laws of the Lebanese Republic, without prejudice to any mandatory legal rights that apply.

If a concern arises, users are encouraged to contact Clevsure first so that the matter can be addressed in a practical and friendly manner.

If the matter cannot be resolved amicably, it will be submitted to the competent courts of Beirut, Lebanon, unless applicable mandatory law requires a different jurisdiction.

30. General provisions

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and any subscription or payment terms displayed at the time of purchase form the complete agreement between the user and AWKCOM SARL concerning Clevsure.

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A delay in enforcing a provision does not mean that the right to enforce it has been waived.

Users may not transfer their accounts or rights under these Terms without written approval from AWKCOM SARL.

AWKCOM SARL may transfer the operation of Clevsure as part of a lawful reorganisation, merger, or business transfer, provided that applicable user and privacy rights continue to be respected.

AWKCOM SARL will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by circumstances reasonably beyond its control, including major internet outages, hosting failures, natural disasters, war, civil disturbance, governmental action, or widespread cyber incidents.

Headings are included for readability and do not change the meaning of these Terms.

If these Terms are made available in more than one language, the English version will control to the extent permitted by applicable law, unless another version is expressly identified as controlling.

31. Contact us
